Squash - Trombetta di Albenga

The Trombetta di Albenga Squash is a unique summer squash known for its long, curly shape and vibrant green color. Perfect for grilling, sautéing, or adding a unique twist to your salads.

Sun: Full sun.

Temperature: Warm to hot location.

Soil: Moist but well-drained, compost-rich, loamy soil, slightly acidic soil. 

Harvest: squash and zucchini can be harvested at any size.  

Recommendation: Use mulch to keep moisture, water regularly and evenly at the base not getting the leaves wet. make sure there is good airflow to reduce the chance of powdery mildew. can grow as ground cover or on a trellis. Remove bottom leaves as the plant grows to improve airflow and access to pollinators. Hand pollination will increase yield. 

Fertilizer: Balanced fertilizer like 4-4-4 amzn.to/4aZ6W9r starting 3 weeks after transplant. and as needed during the season.

Spacing: 18-24 inches apart if growing on a trellis or 24-48 inches apart for ground cover
