Rue - Herb of Grace
Rue, also known as Herb of Grace, is an intriguing plant with distinctive blue-green foliage and a long history of medicinal use. Highly valued for its unique appearance and aromatic properties.
Sun: Full sun.
Soil: Well-drained, dry, or rocky soil that is rich in lime. It can tolerate acidic, neutral, or alkaline soil pH.
Watering: Drought tolerant and only needs to be watered deeply every three weeks. It can tolerate soil drying out between waterings. Avoid wet soil, as rue is sensitive to overwatering and root rot.
Winter: In northern zones, mulch the base of the plant to protect it from frost damage. Potted rue should be overwintered in a frost-free location.
Spacing: 12-24 inches apart
