Petunia - Sparklers
The Petunia - Sparklers variety features uniquely patterned blooms that bring a touch of elegance and sparkle to any garden. Ideal for those who want something a bit different, these petunias are sure to impress.
Sun: At least 6 hours of direct sunlight per day, but can tolerate some shade in hot summers.
Soil: Well-drained, fertile soil that's rich in organic matter. Soggy soil can lead to root rot.
Watering: Keep moist but not waterlogged. About 1 to 2 inches of water per week is usually enough, but plants in containers may need more.
Fertilizing: Balanced fertilizer when planting, and then feed petunias every two to three weeks during the growing season. Avoid fertilizers with a high amount of nitrogen, which encourages foliage growth over blooms.
Pruning: Prune petunias as needed to rejuvenate leggy plants and encourage new growth. You can remove up to 1/3 of the plant's volume, or just cut some branches each week.
Deadheading: Remove faded flowers to encourage blooming.
Spacing: 12-18 inches apart
