Lemon Balm

Member of The Mint Family

Lemon Balm is a delightful herb known for its light, lemony scent and potential calming benefits. It's perfect for making teas or adding fresh flavor to dishes. This plant is a great addition to any herb garden.

Sun: Full sun but can tolerate partial shade. Plants grown in the shade tend to have larger leaves.

Soil: Rich, well-drained soil with a pH of 6.5–7.0. You can improve your soil by mixing in aged compost or other organic matter. Check the soil moisture every few days and water when the top inch is dry.

Spacing: 18–24 inches apart.

Recomendation: Lemon balm can be invasive, so you can plant it in a pot or designate a garden area for it. You can also harvest the tops before the plant flowers to prevent it from going to seed.
