Temperature: warm to hot location

Soil: Compost-rich soil, keep the soil moist but not over-wet.

Fertilizer: Balanced fertilizer like 4-4-4 amzn.to/4aZ6W9r 

Requirement: Use mulch to retain moisture, needs a trellis, and maintain good airflow to reduce mildew. Soil temperature should be maintained high, use clear plastic on the soil to increase soil temperature early in the season. plastic can be removed when outside temperatures rise (usually around June)

Harvesting: when the tendril closest to the melon dry out it is time to harvest.

Spacing: 24-36  inches apart
