Temperature: Needs above 10C to grow well 

Soil: Grows in well-drained acidic soil in-ground or containers keep consistent watering

Fertilizer: Nitrogen-rich fertilizer starting 3 weeks after transplant until flowers start then switch to potassium and phosphorous-rich fertilizer

Recommendation: Use mulch to maintain moisture, added calcium (when transplanting), and Epsom salt (when flowers start) will reduce chances for blossom end rot.

Spacing: 18 inches apart or 5 gallon pots
