Delphinium - Pacific Giant

Delphinium - Pacific Giant showcases impressive, towering spikes filled with a mix of rich, vivid blooms. Renowned for their height and stunning colors, these perennials are ideal for creating dramatic vertical interest in garden landscapes.

Sun: 6–8 hours of sun per day, ideally in the morning and early afternoon. They can tolerate partial sun, but flowering will be poor in shade.

Soil: Well-drained, fertile soil that's rich in nutrients. You can add compost or manure to the soil before planting. If your soil is heavy, you can add grit to improve drainage. Delphiniums prefer a slightly alkaline or neutral pH.

Water: Water delphiniums deeply during dry periods, but avoid overwatering, which can cause root and crown rot. Water the base of the plant, not the leaves, to help prevent disease.

Recommendation: Maintain good airflow to prevent mildew. Protect from strong winds and heavy rain

Fertilizer: Apply a balanced, slow-release fertilizer in early spring and midsummer. You can also use a seaweed fertilizer.

Spacing: 12-18 inches apart
